The Sacraments of Sisterhood Vol 1: Kae, May & Mya (2024)
I spent an afternoon with Kae, May, and Mya documenting our time together.
I deeply cherish my experiences of sisterhood, it remains a significant area of exploration in my practice. I feel at home in the sound of raucous laughter and vulgar words, spending hours in bed together, sharing both the noise and the silence.
Since I met May nearly three years ago, she has always felt like a little sister to me. The parallels in our lives reveal a profound truth: girlhood’s universal trials bond us in sisterhood. She is a reminder to extend grace in situations where I failed to offer it to myself. As we navigate integral moments of sisterhood, I am comforted that our experiences, though uniquely ours, resonate with countless others.
